What's the coolest thing to hit the streets this year?

Well, since you asked so nicely, this is the business.  I have always been more than a little sceptical of Air Rides and I reckon that is with good reasons. I based my opinion on what I had seen building custom bikes. I want my guys to be rolling safely and with satisfaction of our work. After all, I make my living doing it. Air rides did not make the cut. But then, a young man named Matt calls me on the phone. I get many phone calls about all sorts of whiz bang items and I take each seriously. Many turn out to be underdeveloped rubbish. Won't sell them. My usual questions are fairly predictable. Can I see a working model? How long does it take to build? What qualifications does your company have to make such an item safely?

MBP absolutely blew my socks off. Here was a well developed product, market ready for a great price that had all the kinks sorted out and the best part....it was better than the competetors already at market. They are so good that I am putting a dual chamber, dual compressor model on my Busa (and you can imagine how much I love mine).

Developed specifically for height and rebound control the system is totally adjustable throughout the height range, the rider can adjust the height, rebound and stiffness of the suspension ride by the flick of a switch for varying conditions. The system allows approx 4 to 5 inches (100mm to 130mm) of travel and gives a great comfortable ride with the traditional custom slammed look when fully lowered.

MBP only use the top of the line components and materials for our systems, high pressure valves, quality air fittings and the fully rebuildable shock is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum and mirror stainless steel.

Each system is tested before dispatch and offer a 1 year limited warranty.
All the design, development and manufacturing are performed in house so we can offer you the best quality, best ride and best looking motorcycle air suspension on the market today.

MBP Basic - Air Ride Suspension System
List Price: $1,745.00
Our Price: $1,550.00
Sale Price: $1,217.50
You Save $527.50!

The function of this system is a basic air ride, hence the name, air is only pressurising one side (top) of the piston to give height control, the bottom side of the piston does not get pressurised and is open to atmospheric pressure, i do install an adjustable restricter which does give a small amount of rebound adjustment. The compressor pressurises the top of the piston to raise the bike and vents the air via a high pressure solenoid valve to lower the bike. There is one micro switch that actuates the compressor or the solenoid valve. This system is good for if you are only cruising around or you want to raise and lower the bike for the show factor.

This system fits both Generation 1 & 2 Hayabusa.
MBP Total Control Twin Chamber - Air Ride Suspension System
List Price: $2,139.00
Our Price: $1,899.00
Sale Price: $1,503.50
You Save $635.50!

The function of this system is to be totally adjustable hence the name, air can be independently pressurised or released from either the top or the bottom of the piston so the rider can adjust the height, rebound, softness, stiffness of the ride by the flick of one of the switches, there are two micro switches one for height / stiffness control and one for rebound / stiffness control this allows the rider to adjust the rear suspension ride for varying conditions. A lot of people believe that motorcycle air suspension systems can't be used riding the twisties. Well the MBP Total Control System can.

A few examples of how you can use the total control system
You are ready to go riding you adjust the height and stiffness of the shock, you ride down the road and feel the suspension is to soft, well you just flick one or both of the switches to add more pressure to the shock for a stiffer ride.

I do a lot of longer distance riding and I personally love the air ride in these situations. Lets say you are on a long ride and have been riding for a while and the suspension height is set at standard height, if you arms / shoulders / back are starting to get a little tired you can lower the rear down then set the comfort of the shock to your liking, this enables your arms to be straighter your back straighter and your not leaning over the bike as much which gives a more comfortable ride, its amazing what 1 to 2 inches lower at the rear makes it for a long distance ride.

And of course when you get to your destination flick the switch and lower the bike

This system fits both Generation 1 & 2 Hayabusa.
